Time Travelers

On each day of this week long camp we will travel through our experiments to a different place and time to explore the science and discoveries going on in that period of history. Travel to Europe during the time of the renaissance and explore the inventions of Da Vinci. Visit ancient Egypt to explore the building of the pyramids and then transport yourself to the U.S. during the industrial revolution. This camp will use a variety of hands on science and art projects to explore how over time our understanding of science has changed.

Time: 9:00am–4:00pm
Ages: Grades 3-4
Registration: Members $240, nonmembers $265
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $20 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $30 per week

Waiting list
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the waiting list by e-mailing your name, phone number, and the name of the camp you’d like to register for, to camps@nvdm.org.

Cancellation/transfer policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancellation policy. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5954 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to a camp that still have space available.
