Ultimate Engineers

Engineers have a hand in almost everything around us and they use science to help them. Join us for a week of bridge building, space craft designing, bubble solution crafting, boat floating fun as we explore everything engineering by putting everything you build to the test.

Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: Grades 1-2
Registration: Members $265, nonmembers $290
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $20 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $30 per week

Financial assistance
The Discovery is pleased to offer financial assistance to support the educational needs of children from families that cannot afford the full cost of the museum’s camps. For more information, click here.

Waiting list
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the waiting list. We will notify you if a spot opens up.

Cancellation/transfer policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancellation policy. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5954 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to a camp that still have space available.
