Food Fight

Have you ever wanted to play with your food? Then this is the camp for you! In this camp you’ll learn lots of interesting food facts like what carbonation can do to meat, how to make your own butter, how to extract DNA from fruit, and much more!

Time: 9:00am–4:00pm
Ages: Grades 3-4
Registration: Members $210, nonmembers $235
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $20 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $30 per week

The Discovery is pleased to offer financial assistance to support the educational needs of children from families that cannot afford the full cost of the museum’s camps. For more information, click here.

Transfer, Cancelation and Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancelation policy for camp registrations. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5954 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
