Summer 2022 Camp Discovery Off-site Schedule
Same great camps. New location!
This summer, Camp Discovery is taking camps on the road. For two exciting weeks, we’ll be offering camps at Van Gorder Elementary School in Sparks. In addition to plenty of hands-on activities at Van Gorder, camps will also have the opportunity to visit the museum throughout the week.
Camps begin each day at 9:00am and end at 4:00pm. Early drop-off at 8:00am is available.
Important Change: The Discovery has updated camp age requirements to provide a better experience for campers. When registering, please select the appropriate camp based on the grade level your child is enrolled in during the current (2021/22) school year.

Waiting List
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the waiting list by e-mailing your name, phone number, and the name of the camp you’d like to register for, to camps@nvdm.org.
Transfer, Cancelation and Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancelation policy for camp registrations. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5954 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
