Get ready for a fun-filled week as we take on real life challenges by exploring the world of engineering. Get ready to learn the basics of coding, build your very own scribble ’bot, create and launch a catapult, test out a sailboat and be faced with daily engineering challenges. You won’t want to miss this ecstatic week of engineering!
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: Grades 1-2
Registration: Members $240, nonmembers $265
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $20 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $30 per week

Financial assistance
The Discovery is pleased to offer financial assistance to support the educational needs of children from families that cannot afford the full cost of the museum’s camps. For more information, click here.
Waiting list
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the waiting list by e-mailing your name, phone number, and the name of the camp you’d like to register for, to camps@nvdm.org.
Cancellation/transfer policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancellation policy. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5954 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to a camp that still have space available.
