Science of You

Find out what happens inside your outside when you explore Inside Out: an Anatomy Experience and dive deep into the amazing systems that make our bodies work, grow, age and heal. Campers will dissect a cow eye, make an edible spinal cord, create models of human organs, all while exploring exciting careers in the medical profession.

Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: Grades 3-4
Registration: Members $240, nonmembers $265
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $20 per week; Late pick up from 4:00 to 5:30pm – $30 per week

Waiting list
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the waiting list by e-mailing your name, phone number, and the name of the camp you’d like to register for, to camps@nvdm.org.

Financial assistance
The Discovery is pleased to offer financial assistance to support the educational needs of children from families that cannot afford the full cost of the museum’s camps. For more information, click here.

Cancellation/transfer policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancellation policy. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5954 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to a camp that still have space available.
