S’mores Indoors
Get ready for your next great adventure! Campers will dive into the world of camping all while being indoors. Learn how to make a tent using simple items found around your campsite, how to make and navigate using a compass, and more all while learning fun games and songs that can be played around a campfire. Campers will get the chance to explore different ways a campsite can be both fun and educational. Top off the week by making delicious s’mores!
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: Grades 1-2
Registration: Members $240, nonmembers $265
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $20 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $30 per week

Financial assistance
The Discovery is pleased to offer financial assistance to support the educational needs of children from families that cannot afford the full cost of the museum’s camps. For more information, click here.
Waiting list
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the waiting list by e-mailing your name, phone number, and the name of the camp you’d like to register for, to camps@nvdm.org.
Transfer, Cancelation and Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancelation policy for camp registrations. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5954 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
