Science of Yuck (Grades 4-5)
Science of Yuck
Prepare to get messy as we dive hands first into some of the grossest parts of science. We’ll explore the science behind things like boogers, bile, and more. You’ll also create a hands-on model of the human digestive system and have a chance to eat weird and unusual foods like chocolate covered grasshoppers and jelly beans that taste like vomit and fish. Ew! Yuck! Ick!
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: Students entering grades 4-5
Registration: Members $265, nonmembers $290
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $20 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $30 per week

Waiting List
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the waiting list. We will notify you if a spot opens up.
Transfer, Cancelation and Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancelation policy for camp registrations. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5942 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
