Association of Science-Technology Centers
The Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) Passport Program is a network of ASTC member museums around the world that offer free admission to one another’s members who hold premium family memberships. Currently, more than 350 museums participate in the network and provide free admission to ASTC Passport members.
Each institution has its own admissions policy, so call before you go to get the details. Also, reciprocity extends only to regular/general admission—it does not include free admission to additional attractions such as special exhibits, planetarium shows, simulator rides or giant-screen films. It also does not usually include museum store discounts.
To find a museum in the ASTC Passport Program, visit the Association of Science-Techology Center’s website.
ASTC Local Restrictions
Free admission does not apply to centers within a 90-mile radius of your home museum and/or residence.
Free general admission often does not include tickets to things such as special exhibitions, giant-screen theaters, planetarium shows or simulators.
