In response to Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak’s order to close all nonessential businesses for 30 days to help limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), The Discovery will be closed to the public through Friday, April 17, 2020. Camp Discovery summer session, June 8 through August 7 is continuing as planned
While The Discovery is closed to the public, museum staff will still be accessible by email and phone. However, the most efficient way to contact the museum is via our website.
If you have signed up for a camp, birthday party, field trip or facility rental during the closure, our staff will be reaching out to you directly to make new arrangements and accommodations.
We thank you for your understanding during these uncertain times and encourage you to make a donation to support the museum. Your support will ensure The Discovery can continue to fulfill its mission to inspire during this challenging time and in the future.
