Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live in a videogame? Inspired by Fortnite, this camp looks at the STEM aspects behind the popular game, challenging campers’ engineering skills by having them build epic towers, create daring egg drops, and design the perfect pickaxe. Campers will also engage their artistic side by creating a wacky skin (costume) for their avatar and hold epic competitions to claim the coveted Victory Royale!
Location: The Discovery, 490 S. Center Street, Downtown Reno
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: Students entering grades 6-7
Registration: Members $290, nonmembers $315
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $30 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $45 per week

Waiting List
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the wait list on the CampSite registration platform.
Transfer, Cancelation and Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancelation policy for camp registrations. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5942 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
