We are committed to making The Discovery accessible to everyone. Thanks to the generosity of the museum’s donors, the Discovery of All program provides financial assistance to ensure access to the museum and the variety of programs we offer are available to everyone in our community.
The Discovery is proud to partner with the following organizations and programs to provide financial assistance:

he Discovery proudly participates in the Museums for All program, helping make museums accessible nationwide. Visitors with an EBT/SNAP, WIC, or TANF card can purchase $5 daily admission per person (up to 6 people) during normal museum hours. Bring your qualifying card and matching photo ID to the admissions desk.
Additionally, $5 daily admission per person (up to 6 people) is available to individuals and families who receive support from our partner organizations. Simply present your proof of support (ID card, letter of support, etc.) and a matching photo ID at the admissions desk during normal museum hours.
Check out free admission to The Discovery and other local museums through using your Washoe County Library card. Visit your nearest library or check its website to sign up and see if passes are available.
To apply for financial assistance, please complete the appropriate application from the list below. Applications are reviewed by our staff on a weekly basis, and applicants are notified of the assistance awarded by e-mail or phone.
