There’s always more to discover! We’re working on a number of exciting featured and permanent exhibition coming soon to The Discovery.
Matter Splatter invites visitors of all ages to take matter into their own hands. In this inventive, hands-on exhibition, visitors will explore the materials used to produce some of the most advanced technology in existence today. With your support, this 3,000 square-foot featured exhibition will open at The Discovery in mid-May 2020.
Drugs: Costs & Consequences, a 6,000 sq. ft. traveling exhibition created by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Museum, will give museum visitors the opportunity to analyze and understand the impact legal and illegal drugs have on individuals, American society and the world.
Nevada is a reimagined presentation of the content currently in Nevada Stories. The exhibition will present Nevada’s story told from a natural history perspective. This 3,000 square foot exhibition will move from the current Nevada Stories location to the museum’s lower level (currently Science Underground).
Flight Tech will take museum visitors on a journey into the skies, turning high-tech aviation, drone technology, robotics and aviation history into an interactive experience. This 5,000 square foot exhibition will take the place of the museum’s Nevada Stories exhibition, adding a mezzanine floor to capitalize on the height in the space and create more room for hands-on exhibits.
