10:00am - 5:00pm There’s always more to discover!
At The Discovery, we love being the place where our community gathers to find inspiration in science. The place where you can make memories, stay connected with friends and family, and build community. In the midst of this health crisis, and school closings, we vow to continue to be that place where you can find inspiration.
But these are unprecedented times. We’ve never been through this. Many of us are working from home with kids in the house full-time now. Schedules are unpredictable. The structure of work, home and life in general has been dismantled. And at the end of the (very long) day, we’re not sure if we’re doing any of this right. But that’s where The Discovery comes in.
While the museum has been closed over the last five weeks, we have dedicated ourselves to keeping science inspiration flowing into your homes, into the hands of educators, and throughout our community. In case you’ve missed it, be sure to check out the amazing collection of Learning at Home resources we have put together. And if you’re missing the happy faces who often greet you here at The Discovery, check out the video message below.
I truly hope that you and your family are safe, healthy and finding the bright spots in this crisis wherever you can. As a community, we’ll come through this stronger than we were before. And, hopefully, with inspiration even bigger than we ever imagined.
Sincerely,
Mat Sinclair, MPA
