How do I join the Catalyst Council?

The Catalyst Council includes donors whose annual giving reaches $1,000 or more in a calendar year, whether through a single gift or a combination of gifts, in support of any initiative at The Discovery.

Catalyst Council members receive:

VIP preview access to new exhibitions
Exclusive invitation to the annual “State of The Discovery” presentation by the President/CEO
Complimentary invitations to Science Distilled, our informal science lecture series
Invitations to private receptions/house parties
One-on-one update meeting annually with The Discovery’s senior staff
Invitations to unique “adult field trips” to encourage lifelong STEM learning at local science and technology hubs, hosted by The Discovery and our corporate partners. Field trips may include tours of Ormat’s Steamboat geothermal facility, TMWA’s hydroelectric facility in Verdi, a local mine, or Tesla’s gigafactory, among other opportunities
