Zachary Hamer, also known as Reno Astro Guy, is a Reno-based astrophotographer. Zachary’s incredible photographs include stunning images of planetary objects such as the moon and planets as well as images of galaxies, star clusters, and nebulae.
Kelly Kosmo O’Neil is a teaching professor in the Physics Department at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), where she has been teaching astronomy and astrophysics since Fall 2023. She earned her PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics at UCLA in 2023, studying the orbits of stars around the supermassive black hole at the center of our Milky Way Galaxy, before joining the faculty at UNR.
Paul McFarlane is the Director of Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno. In addition to his studies in astronomy and astrophysics at the University of Nevada, Reno’s Department of Physics, Paul has also trained at Johnson and Kennedy Space Centers with aerospace and NASA experts in astronomy, engineering and planetary science.
