Discovery for All
We are committed to making The Discovery accessible to everyone. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Discovery of All program provides financial assistance to ensure access to The Discovery is available to everyone in our community.
Assistance for Daily Admission
T
he Discovery proudly participates in the Museums for All program, helping make museums accessible nationwide. Visitors with an EBT/SNAP, WIC, or TANF card can purchase $5 daily admission per person (up to 6 people) during normal museum hours. Bring your qualifying card and matching photo ID to the admissions desk.
Get free admission to The Discovery and other local museums through Washoe County Library System’s Discover & Go program. Visit your nearest library or check its website to see if passes are available.
Assistance for Individuals and Families
To apply for financial assistance, please complete the appropriate application from the list below. Applications are reviewed by our staff on a weekly basis, and applicants are notified of the assistance awarded by e-mail or phone.
