Artistic Adventures (Traveling Camp)
Put your creativity to work when you travel all over Northern Nevada visiting spaces where inspiration reigns supreme! Learn how to paint on canvas, take stunning photographs, create with clay, and build a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork that represents you, all while visiting a new location each day and learning the science behind the art of each project! No art experience required.
Time: 9:00am–4:00pm
Ages: Grades 3-7
Registration: Members $250, nonmembers $275
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $20 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $30 per week

Financial Assistance
The Discovery is pleased to offer financial assistance to support the educational needs of children from families that cannot afford the full cost of the museum’s camps. For more information, click here.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancellation policy. If you need to transfer sessions or make other changes to your registration, please call us at 775-398-5954 or email camps@nvdm.org. There is no fee for transferring from one session to another. However, if you register online for a new camp and then want to cancel your original registration, our standard cancellation policy will apply. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
