The Discovery had just opened to the public in 2011 when Catherine and her husband moved back to Reno. As her family grew to include children, the museum became a familiar place. And because Reno is a small, tight-knit community, Catherine has had many friends who either worked at The Discovery or were involved on a committee or the board. So, it was only natural that she would join the museum’s Board of Directors when the time was right.
Ms. Reichenberg is a Shareholder at Gunderson Law Firm representing a wide variety of clients from local to international businesses, business owners and professionals, commercial and residential real estate brokers and agents, individuals, homeowners, developers, contractors and others. During her time with Gunderson Law Firm, Catherine has counseled numerous business owners and individuals regarding their non-litigation legal and business options. In addition, she enjoys regularly appearing in both state and federal court throughout the Western United States.
Catherine has received a number of honors and recognition for her legal work including AV Preeminent Rated from Martindale-Hubbell, Mountain States Rising Star from Super Lawyers and Legal Elite from Nevada Business Magazine.
In her role on The Discovery’s board, Catherine wants to help the museum continue on its path to being a top-tier science museum for our community and the entire region.
In her free time, Catherine enjoys travel, hiking, skiing, gatherings with friends and family and learning new things, the latter is a trait perfectly fit for The Discovery!
