Mike Heath
The Discovery is pleased to formally introduce you to another one of our outstanding board members: Michael Heath.
Before landing his position on The Discovery’s Board of Directors in 2017, Michael began his journey with us as a member of the Development Committee for the museum in 2016. After attending an event at The Discovery hosted by a financial institution, his interest in being a part of our team was undeniable.
Outside of his work with The Discovery, Michael is a Vice President Branch Relationship Manager at Meadows Bank. In this role, Michael works on establishing new relationships with small businesses and consumers.

In addition to his work with The Discovery, Michael is also an active participant with the Reno Rodeo and the Builders Association of Northern Nevada.
When it comes to life outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his family. Currently, he and his family are working on teaching his five-year-old how to swim and ride a bike! Michael also enjoys the many outdoor activities that Northern Nevada has to offer such as fishing, hiking, and paddle sports.
As for the future of The Discovery, Michael hopes to see the museum become nationally recognized as a premier science center, as well as a destination spot within Reno.
