Make your family’s annual flu vaccinations a fun event at The Discovery!
Flu vaccines will be available at low or no-cost for children and adults who qualify. Flu vaccines will be administered by Washoe County Health District and Walmart on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. All children who get a flu shot, and one adult per family, will be given a voucher for free admission to the museum to be used on a later date.
*Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the clinic date. Masks must be worn at all times. All surfaces will be sanitized and social distancing will be practiced to ensure the safety of all clinic attendees. If you have health insurance, including Nevada Checkup and Medicaid, please bring your insurance card.
An annual flu shot is recommended for everyone who is 6 months of age and older, especially those with certain medical conditions, pregnant women, and people 65 years of age and older.
