Visit The Discovery after 4:00pm every Wednesday when admission is just $5.00 per visitor! Members and children under age 1 are always free. And best of all, the museum stays open until 8:00pm! The Discovery’s Wednesday discount admission program is presented by Great Basin Federal Credit Union.

The Nevada State Treasurer’s Office and the SSGA Upromise 529 Plan invite you and your family to The Discovery on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 to celebrate education and the future of our children. Join us at the museum for a day of fun activities meant to inspire and remind everyone to start small, and dream big. Visitors age 17 and under enjoy FREE admission from 12:00 until 8:00pm! Adult admission is $12 ($5 after 4:00pm).

Once again, The Discovery is excited to participate in the annual Reno Midtown Art Walk. Enjoy free admission from 4:00 to 8:00pm and the opportunity to explore the entire museum including the featured exhibition Curiosity Carnival, on exhibit through August 18, 2018. Make your family’s annual flu vaccinations a fun event at The Discovery! Flu vaccines will be available at low or no-cost for children and adults who qualify. Flu vaccines will be administered by Washoe County Health District on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.
