Calendar of Events

In this exciting and bubbly experiment, children will use colorful heart-shaped baking soda creations and watch them fizz and bubble! This STEM-based sensory activity introduces children to basic chemistry concepts like reactions and states of matter while also encouraging curiosity, observation, and fine motor control.

In this playful, hands-on activity, young visitors will practice brushing “teeth” on models using real toothbrushes and foamy “toothpaste” (shaving cream). Children will explore the motions and routines of oral hygiene through pretend play, creating health awareness, fine motor development, and early science understanding of body systems and hygiene.

The Discovery will be closed to the public on Monday, June 8, 2026 for exhibit maintenance. The museum will reopen and resume normal operating hours on Tuessday, June 9. As always, please check our calendar of events for updates on the many exciting things happening here at The Discovery.
