Rebekah Stetson is an educator and artisan. Her passion as an artist is in reusing things from nature by transforming them into a new creation. From local, organically grown chicken feathers for earrings to wild harvested materials for dream catchers, all of creation is revered in her work. Join us on Earth Day to try your hand at shibori, a unique Japanese fabric dyeing technique. You’ll learn how to twist, fold, tie and bind fabrics to make simple patterns while working with indigo, one of the oldest natural dyes. This hands-on workshop will be taught by Sarah Lillegard.
