10:00am - 8:00am There's always more to discover!
The Discovery is asking you to spend one hour, completing a mindful tour of sustainability within our region, taking photographs along the way. Our community is changing and the future of our region will not be like the past—we want to know what you see as our community’s successes, disappointments and hopes when it comes to being sustainable. If your photos are chosen as exemplary by a panel of judges, you could win one of three great prizes, including a one-year membership to The Discovery.
The Grand Prize, Viewers’ Choice prize, #EMERGING, #BREAKING DOWN, and #HOPES category prizes are open to participants who are 18 years old or older OR participants age 17 and under who have the permission of a legal guardian. The Discovery will determine winners’ eligibility in its sole discretion.
Professional cameras not necessary! Photographs shot on smart phones and “point and shoot” cameras are eligible. However, if you are submitting images from a nonprofessional camera please shoot in the highest resolution your camera allows.
1. During your one-hour walking tour, we ask that you take a focused approach.
