Thank you for your interest in supporting The Discovery. Since 2011, the museum has been fulfilling its mission to inspire by being the place to experience science—not just for children, but for curious people of every age. The inspiration found at The Discovery helps better the minds and lives of all who visit.
This is what you can make happen with a grant of $250 to $10,000:
School Field Trip Program — continued development of the museum’s hands-on science experiences for K-8th grade students in Northern Nevada.
Financial Assistance Program — increased access to The Discovery’s educational programming for low-income households and the underserved in our Northern Nevada community.

School Field Trip Program
STEM inspiration runs deep when students visit The Discovery on a school field trip. Your support helps the museum develop and deliver standards-aligned science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) programming that creates a much-needed hands-on reinforcement of classroom learning.
Financial Assistance Program
Funding will support The Discovery’s ability to provide full or partial financial assistance to underserved and low-income families to help them take advantage of the museum’s valuable Camp Discovery sessions, school field trips, museum overnights, daily admission, and annual memberships.
