The Discovery is pleased to offer financial assistance to help families in need enroll their children in the museum’s Camp Discovery program. Assistance is awarded based on available funds and financial need. Funds are made available through the generosity of The Discovery’s donors.
Financial assistance is available to recipients of support from the following programs:
EBT/SNAP
WIC
Medicaid
TANF
CHIP
RCA/RMA – Refugee Support
Support from Reno Housing Authority
Support from FAM (Foster, Adopt, Mentor)
Support from Domestic Violence Resource Center
Support from Family Respite Care of Nevada
Support from Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation
To apply for financial assistance for Camp Discovery, please complete the application below. A completed application is required for each camper. Applications are reviewed as they are received. Applicants can expect to receive a response in 1-2 weeks.
