Birthday Parties
Parties at The Discovery aren’t just fun, they’re educational!
Make your child’s next birthday fun and educational, with a party at The Discovery. Each birthday party includes an impressive list of standard features. And, you can add additional learning and fun activities to make the party even better! All parties at The Discovery include the following features:
- Free all-day access to the museum for party guests
- 2 hours in one of the museum’s private birthday party rooms
- Invitations for you to download, print and mail
- A commemorative T-shirt for the party honoree
- Age-appropriate scavenger hunts for party attendees
- Discovery thank you cards with envelopes
Additional features to make your party even better:
- Sustainable party convenience kit—includes plates, cups, napkins and utensils, $30/$50
- Age-appropriate Discovery goodie bags for your party guests, $4.50 each

Blue Party Room
The Blue Party Room features a full size refrigerator, double oven, microwave, and sink, and is easily accessible from the museum’s lower atrium. Capacity: up to 25 children, total room capacity 60.

Orange Party Room
The Orange Party Room features a full size refrigerator, microwave, sink, and ample seating. Capacity: up to 15 children, total room capacity 40.

Exclusive Party
Have the museum all to yourself with this exclusive party—before the museum opens or after it closes! Use Blue Party Room as your base camp while you explore the entire museum for two full hours! Capacity: up to 100 guests.

Slumber Party
Celebrate your special occasion with a museum experience unlike any other. Arrive at 6:00pm and explore (or sleep) until 9:00am the next day. Capacity: up to 50 children with 1 adult chaperone for every 5 children.
