Water World
The Discovery has collaborated with The Desert Research Institute to up the ante when it comes to becoming an expert H20 scientist. Learn about the unique qualities of water and the role water has played in the history and culture of Nevada. Create devices that conserve water and purify it. Build your own water filtration system and learn how to recycle and reuse everyday items to keep our water clean and pure.
Time: 9:00am–4:00pm
Ages: Grades 1-2
Registration: Members $200, nonmembers $2225
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $20 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $30 per week
