The Camp Discovery Lead Educator guides kindergarten through 7th grade students in week-long adventures in learning. In addition to learning the curriculum and facilitation of camp activities, the duties of the Lead Educator include maintaining program materials, set-up and clean-up for the daily activities, and guiding students during museum exploration.
Note: Camps run June 19 through August 11. A minimum availability of four weeks during the summer session is required.

The Camp Discovery Assistant Educator helps keep each day of camp fluid and on track by helping to manage supplies, set-up, clean-up, and prep of activities, and also by teaching campers as directed by their Lead Educator.

Reporting to Exhibits Manager, the Exhibit and Facilities Coordinator (EFC) provides hands-on support to maintain The Discovery to the highest levels and standards of appearance. This includes first response maintenance of exhibit components, plumbing, electrical or structural nature, housekeeping oversight and general operations support.

The Visitor Service Representative (VSR) creates a first impression of warmth and welcome for all of The Discovery’s visitors and sets the mood and tone for each visitor’s experience at the museum by providing information necessary for visitors to feel inspired to explore.
