During Washoe County School District’s spring break 2017, The Discovery will be open from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Mondays. Take advantage of time off from school and enjoy a visit to the museum. Check the calendar of events for a list of special activities being offered during spring break.

From Memorial Day, May 29, 2017 though Labor Day, September 4, 2017, The Discovery adds Monday to the days of the week the museum is open to the public. Special Hours: Closing at 2:00pm
The Discovery will close at 2:00pm on Thursday, September 13, 2018 to prepare for the museum’s annual Educator Night Out. The museum will reopen at 10:00am on Friday, September 14 and resume normal hours.
