Join a member of The Discovery’s exhibits team for a feeding of the live fish on display here at The Discovery as part of the Monster Fish: In Search of the Last River Giants exhibition. Meet the Scientist: Mark Hausner
Mark Hausner is an Assistant Research Professor with the Desert Research Institute, or DRI. Mark will be visiting The Discovery to share information with museum visitors about his research on Devils Hole pupfish in a very high-profile location here in Nevada. In conjunction with the live pupfish on display as part of the Monster Fish exhibition, Mark will share information about how these fish became endangered and what makes them so unique.

Midtown Art Walk
Once again, The Discovery is participating in the annual Midtown Art Walk. Enjoy free admission from 4:00 to 8:00pm and the opportunity to explore the entire museum including the newest addition, Inside Out: an Anatomy Experience, and the featured exhibition, Monster Fish: In Search of the Last River Giants, on exhibit through September 5th.
