In The Shop, hands-on gets serious—visitors can use real tools and materials that are certain to encourage creativity and ingenuity. Visitors are encouraged to tinker, repurpose, upcycle, take apart, put back together and anything else to make a discovery or creation all their own. Best of all, what you make is yours to keep! To find out what’s happening in The Shop this week, check out the museum’s calendar of events.
Note: The Shop offers access to real tools and materials that can be dangerous if used improperly. Parents are encouraged to help young tinkerers use the tools and materials safely in this space.
