Science Magic (Grades 2-3, off-site)
Science Magic
Campers will not believe their eyes. This camp will explore tons of hands on science experiments that at first glance must be magic but when you look a little closer, and ask a few questions you will find its actually science! See an egg get sucked into a bottle, pull a table cloth out from under a table full of dishes and colored water appear to magically refuse to mix! Watch a tea bag take off into the air and explore a balloon that refuses to pop.
Location: Donner Spring Elementary School, 5125 Escuela Way, Reno
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: Students entering grades 2-3
Registration: Members $265, nonmembers $290
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $30 per week

Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the wait list on the CampSite registration platform.
Transfer, Cancelation and Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancelation policy for camp registrations. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5942 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
