Can You Dig It? (Grades 4-5)
Can You Dig It?
You may not own a bull whip or wear a fedora like Indiana Jones, but those aren’t required to become a storied archaeologist. In this camp you’ll employ a variety of skills to unearth treasured artifacts. You’ll experiment with ways to clean and preserve artifacts, and recreate the stories of the people who left the artifacts behind. This camp culminates with the production of a short film about the artifacts and what can be learned from them.
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: Students entering grades 4-5
Registration: Members $290, nonmembers $3150
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $20 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $30 per week

Waiting List
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the waiting list. We will notify you if a spot opens up.
Transfer, Cancelation and Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancelation policy for camp registrations. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5942 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
