Flu and COVID-19 vaccines will be available at low or no-cost for children and adults who qualify. Vaccines will be administered by Washoe County Health District and/or Safeway on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. No appointment necessary.
If you have insurance, including Nevada Checkup or Medicare, please bring your insurance card. If you do not have insurance, the cost of vaccinations will be covered by Immunize Nevada.
For patients receiving vaccines through Washoe County Health District, the minimum age to be vaccinated is 4 years old. For private pay patients (vaccines provided by Safeway), the minimum age to be vaccinated is 3 years old for flu vaccines and 12 years old for COVID vaccines.
Anyone who receives a vaccine will be given a voucher for free admission to The Discovery to be used on the day of the clinic or at a later date.
Please note: Masks are required for anyone entering the clinic. All surfaces will be sanitized and social distancing will be practiced to ensure the safety of all clinic attendees.
