Discover Your Way
An event every month that begins at 10:00 am on day First of the month, repeating until December 2, 2017
Join us on the first Sunday of the month for exclusive admission to families with children on the Autism Spectrum and with sensory processing disorders. This monthly program provides an opportunity to enjoy sensory-friendly time at the museum and allows parents to network with one another. Discover Your Way visitors are welcome to stay and play when the museum opens to the general public at noon. Special Monday Hours
An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Monday, repeating until March 27, 2017
During Washoe County School District’s spring break 2017, The Discovery will be open from 10:00am to 5:00pm on Mondays. Take advantage of time off from school and enjoy a visit to the museum. Check the calendar of events for a list of special activities being offered during spring break.

Summer Hours: Open Mondays

From Memorial Day, May 29, 2017 though Labor Day, September 4, 2017, The Discovery adds Monday to the days of the week the museum is open to the public.
