Starry Night (Grades 2-3)
Starry Night
In this interstellar camp, campers will explore space through fun, age-appropriate science activities. Campers learn about stars, the moon, telescopes, and astronauts while building simple projects, experimenting, and problem-solving together. This engaging camp encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence—making STEM learning exciting and approachable for young learners.
Location: The Discovery, 490 S. Center Street, Downtown Reno
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: Students entering grades 2-3
Registration: Members $290, nonmembers $315
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $30 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $45 per week

Waiting List
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, please join the wait list on the CampSite registration platform. When the wait list for a camp reaches 10 campers, we’ll open an additional session of that camp, space permitting.
Transfer, Cancelation and Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancelation policy. There is a $10 fee to transfer between camps. If you would like to transfer to another camp within the same week, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5942 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
