  • I just purchased/renewed my membership but I am not able to download my membership cards in the app?

    Upon purchase/renewal, your membership is active immediately and you can visit The Discovery right away. Please allow 24 hours after your membership is purchased/renewed to receive an e-mail with your digital membership card information.

  • What should I do if I am not able to find my membership card using the app?

    We’re here to help. Feel free to e-mail memberships@nvdm.org or give us a call at 775-786-1000.

  • What do I do if my name is spelled wrong, or my membership level is incorrect?

    We can help fix any errors with your membership. Simply e-mail memberships@nvdm.org and let us know what’s wrong so we can make the necessary corrections.

  • Can more than one person on a membership download digital membership cards?

    Yes. All adult members on a membership can install the PassPlay app to download digital membership cards.

  • Will I still need to show a photo ID for admission to The Discovery?

    Yes. To verify member admission, we ask that members show their digital membership card and a valid photo ID for admission to the museum.

  • Do digital membership cards work at other museums with my ASTC Passport Program reciprocal admission?

    Yes. Simply show your digital membership card that includes the ASTC logo at any museum that participates in ASTC’s Passport Program for free or reduced admission.

  • Will my digital membership card update when I renew my membership?

    Yes. After your membership renewal has been processed, your digital card information will automatically update with your new expiration date within 24-48 hours. There’s no need to make any updates or changes in the PassPlay app.

  • Is my information secure when I use my digital membership card?

    Yes. No payment or personal information is transmitted to PassPlay when your digital membership cards are activated.

  • What if I prefer a plastic membership card?

    By default, all new and renewing members will now receive a digital membership card. If you prefer to receive a plastic membership card instead, please contact us at memberships@nvdm.org or 775-786-1000.
