Health & Safety at The Discovery

We are excited to welcome you to the museum and want to make you aware of what you can expect when you visit:

Face coverings
Masks are suggested but not required for all museum visitors, regardless of age or vaccination status. Masking is a scientifically proven way to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other potential health threats. Moving to a mask recommendation rather than a mandate allows individuals to act according to their own specific needs and health risk tolerances.

Cleaning and sanitizing
Museum staff will be frequently cleaning and sanitizing the museum throughout the day. Museum exhibitions may be closed on a rotating schedule throughout the day for deep cleaning and sanitizing. Some exhibits may not be available due to sanitization limitations.

Advance tickets
Advance tickets are not required to visit the museum. Museum admission can be purchased at the admissions desk upon arrival at The Discovery.
