Northern Nevada’s largest hands-on science center, The Discovery, is in the search for a fundraising President & CEO to expand its facilities, programs, impact, audiences and base of philanthropic support. The Camp Discovery Lead Educator guides students in week-long adventures in learning (i.e. summer camps). Camp educators will be teaching camps for students going into grades Kindergarten through 7th. In addition to learning the curriculum and facilitation of these various camps, the duties of the Educator include building community relationships within the camp setting, maintaining program materials, set-up and clean-up for the daily activities, managing walking field trips.

The Camp Discovery Assistant Educator helps to keep each day fluid and on track by helping to manage supplies, set-up, clean-up, and prep of activities. The Assistant Educator also helps lead activities as directed by their Lead Educator, attends walking field trips as an extra chaperone, and assists in the advance preparation of activities.
