Mind Benders

Get ready to explore the far corners of your mind when you design your own puzzles, games and brain teasers to unlock doors and secret containers. You’ll use science and math to create a miniature escape challenge for you and your friends. Learn the science behind black light, invisible ink, and much more. It’s going to be a mind bending experience!

Time: 9:00am–4:00pm
Ages: Grades 3-4
Registration: Members $210, nonmembers $235
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $20 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $30 per week

Waiting list
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the waiting list by e-mailing your name, phone number, and the name of the camp you’d like to register for, to camps@nvdm.org.

Financial assistance
The Discovery is pleased to offer financial assistance to support the educational needs of children from families that cannot afford the full cost of the museum’s camps. For more information, click here.

Cancellation/transfer policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancellation policy. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5954 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to a camp that still have space available.
