Superhero Training

Superwoman, Batman, Aquaman and Spiderman all have super powers and so do you! In this camp, you’ll learn how biological adaptations are nature’s true super power! You’ll create your own alter-ego and design a costume to match. Find out what scientific tests you’ll need to perform to make sure your high-tech cape and gear stands up to the challenges of fending off the bad guys.

Time: 9:00am–4:00pm
Ages: Students enrolled in grades 3-4
Registration: Members $290, nonmembers $315
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $40 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $45 per week

Waiting List
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the waiting list. We will notify you if a spot opens up.

Transfer, Cancelation and Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancelation policy for camp registrations. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5942 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
