Dino-Mites

Giant lizards walking the streets of downtown Reno—unbelievable! Or is it? In this camp you’ll learn all about the dinosaurs that once roamed Nevada. You’ll learn what they ate, how they lived, and create your own day-in-the-life of a dinosaur story. You’ll also learn about fossilization and create your own fossil to take home.

Times: 1:00 – 4:00pm
Ages: Kindergarten
Registration: Members $120, nonmembers $132.50
Notes: Late pick up until 5:30pm – $30 per week

Waiting list
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the waiting list by e-mailing your name, phone number, and the name of the camp you’d like to register for, to camps@nvdm.org.

Transfer, Cancelation and Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancelation policy for camp registrations. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5954 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
