The Magical Bus (Grades 4-5)
The Magical Bus
Each day of this camp is inspired by the television series “The Magic School Bus.” Campers will use their imagination to travel to a new destination each day by doing a variety of hands-on experiments and games. Campers will travel into the human body and make an edible model of skin and create a pop bottle lung that breaths. Next up is outer space where campers will create their own crater and learn the phases of the moon using cookies. Buckle your seatbelts because this is just a taste of the fun that campers will have on the magic bus!
Location: The Discovery, 490 S. Center Street, Downtown Reno
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: Students entering grades 4-5
Registration: Members $290, nonmembers $315
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $30 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $45 per week

Waiting List
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the wait list on the CampSite registration platform.
Transfer, Cancelation and Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancelation policy for camp registrations. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5942 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
