Winter Break 2025 Camp Discovery Schedule
Explore science during winter break!
Get ready to explore and discover with Camp Discovery during Washoe County School District’s winter break, December 30, 2024 through January 3, 2025. Choose from four hands-on camps for students enrolled in kindergarten through 7th grade. Camp Discovery begins each day at 9:00am and concludes at 4:00pm. Early drop-off at 8:00am and late pick up until 5:30pm are available.

Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the wait list on the CampSite registration platform.
Transfer, Cancelation and Refund Policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancelation policy for camp registrations. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5942 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to camps that still have space available.
