EMPOW[HER] Corporate Sponsorship

EMPOW[HER] Collective for Women & Girls in STEM at The Discovery in Downtown Reno, NVWomen remain underrepresented in STEM career fields—this initiative will be a catalyst to change that.  The Collective will be comprised of women working in STEM as well as undergraduate and graduate students studying these fields.  Through mentorship, networking and hands-on programming developed and implemented by women in this Collective, women and girls of all ages will collaborate to build a community, giving rise to the next generation of female STEM professionals.

Corporate support of the EMPOW[HER] Collective not only supports hands-on STEM programming for girls, but also shows your commitment to helping young women aspire to achieve career goals they may have never thought possible.

EMPOW[HER] Advocate – $10,000 commitment

Benefits include:

  • Serving as a community advocate to engage girls with STEM
  • Up to 10 individual memberships included (typically $500 per individual membership)
  • Mentoring opportunities with program participants at The Discovery
  • Opportunities to host girls’ career exploration field trips to your facility
  • Invitations to receptions/mixers
  • Logo placement on webpage and on all event materials including e-mail blasts and social media posts showing your company’s leadership in this important initiative

EMPOW[HER] Supporter – $5,000 commitment

Benefits include:

  • Serving as a community advocate to engage girls with STEM
