Things That Go!
It seems we’re always on the go, but how do we get there? In this camp you’ll find out by creating the best paper airplane, building a better rocket, constructing a recycled car, and other transportation endeavors!
Color Palooza
Inspired by the science behind color, this camp gets hands on with the stuff that makes our world so vivid, bright and wonderful. Make science your friend by studying a different color each day while making sticky green slime, writing a secrete message in a yellow banana and even making play dough that magically turns red.
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Ages: Kindergarten
Registration: Members $240, nonmembers $265
Notes: Early drop-off starting at 8:00am – $20 per week; Late pick up 4:00-5:30pm – $30 per week

Waiting list
Camps fill up quickly. If the camp you’d like to register for is full, you can be added to the waiting list by e-mailing your name, phone number, and the name of the camp you’d like to register for, to camps@nvdm.org.
Financial assistance
The Discovery is pleased to offer financial assistance to support the educational needs of children from families that cannot afford the full cost of the museum’s camps. For more information, click here.
Cancellation/transfer policy
The Discovery has a no refund cancellation policy. There is a $20 fee to transfer between camps. If you need to transfer from one camp to another, from one week to another, or make any changes to your Camp Discovery registration, please call 775-398-5954 or email camps@nvdm.org. Please note, you can only transfer to a camp that still have space available.
